Goyn Tanga mission is to strengthen the local ecosystem’s capacity to provide sustainable economic opportunities, networks, and support systems that empower young people (15-35) in Tanga to secure employment, start businesses, and actively shape their future.

GOYN Tanga is building a stronger, more inclusive youth ecosystem that supports young people to access dignified work, launch businesses, and contribute meaningfully to the region’s future. The strategy focuses on five interconnected pillars(Pathways) supported by three enablers that make long-term system change possible.

1. Building High-Labour Absorption Industries

GOYN Tanga promotes industries that create large numbers of dignified jobs for youth, focusing on sectors with significant growth potential.

  • Aggregate data on market opportunities

  • Connect industry demands with youth skills development

This pillar supports long-term economic resilience and opens pathways for thousands of young people seeking stable careers.

2. Bridging Demand and Supply Skills Gaps

This pillar strengthens the skilling pipeline so youth are ready for the labour market.

The goal is to align training with the real needs of employers in Tanga.

3. Mass Entrepreneurship
